The Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club has made arrangements with the historic Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, Nevada to allow the friends and members of LVRAC to setup portable amateur radio gear for a RADIO DAY on Sunday October 26, 2025.
Pioneer Saloon is open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and we can utilize the parking lot directly behind the Saloon starting at 8:00 AM.
If you are interested in setting up and operating, send a note directly to Charlie k7cbs@cox.net. But if you just want to take a leisurely drive on Sunday the 26th, come on out to Goodsprings and network with your fellow hams and see the many different “Outdoor Amateur Radio” setups. And feel free to tell your friends and neighbors about the event as the Pioneer Saloon has a reputation for their BURGERS.
