(1) Amateur Radio Technical Net focus is on all technical aspects of the hobby. Participants are encouraged to assist in answering technical questions. (2) Outdoor Amateur Radio (OAR) Net. A growing number of us enjoy portable operating here in Southern Nevada. We cover topics related to outdoor operation and camping.

February 7, 2026(2 events) 6:00 am: Las Vegas Monthly HAM Swap Meet – On the first Saturday of every month, the local "HAMS" gather at the parking lot of the PETERSON CENTER 6455 Dean Martin Drive. The swap meet is a non-sponsored event. It is held rain or shine and on holidays. There is no charge to set up and sell at this gathering. Selling begins at sunrise and typically runs 2-3 hours, depending on the amount of items and buyers present. February 21, 2026(1 event) 8:30 am: Hidden Transmitter Hunt The February T-Hunt/Fox Hunt will be held at Sunset Regional Park at 8:30 am with doughnuts, coffee, water, conversation and equipment preparation. The actual T-Hunt will start at 9 am and the participants will be tasked with finding four (4) transmitters on foot. February 22, 2026(2 events) 8:00 am: Radio Day @ Spring Mountain Ranch State Park – LVRAC will be setting up and operating several ham radio stations at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park for the Radio Day on Sunday, February 22, 2026. Spring Mountain Ranch State Park and the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club will be celebrating Radio Day in honor of Chester “Chet” Lauck, on Sunday February 22, 2026. Throughout the late morning and early afternoon of February 16th, members of the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club will be exhibiting and demonstrating current radio technology, showing how radio is used today at the Visitors Center (Ranch House) parking lot. 7:00 pm: LVRAC Thunderbird NET – 10 Meter Net on 28.420 MHz.
