RoundTable is an open discussion on amateur radio topics selected by members and friends of the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club. This is a chance for us to catch up with the activities of our fellow members, hear from guests and tackle a topic. Thursday Roundtable Topic Schedule
(1) Amateur Radio Technical Net focus is on all technical aspects of the hobby. Participants are encouraged to assist in answering technical questions. (2) Outdoor Amateur Radio (OAR) Net. A growing number of us enjoy portable operating here in Southern Nevada. We cover topics related to outdoor operation and camping.

April 4, 2026(2 events) 6:00 am: Las Vegas Monthly HAM Swap Meet – On the first Saturday of every month, the local "HAMS" gather at the parking lot of the PETERSON CENTER 6455 Dean Martin Drive. The swap meet is a non-sponsored event. It is held rain or shine and on holidays. There is no charge to set up and sell at this gathering. Selling begins at sunrise and typically runs 2-3 hours, depending on the amount of items and buyers present. Swap meet space is generously provided by:Houdini Magic Shops, Munari Auctions, and KIYQ 107.1 FM 8:00 am: LVRAC 65th Birthday Party Please join us in celebrating LVRAC’s 65th birthday. Birthday cake and coffee will be served at around noon. We will be operating our radios inside the facility. If you would like to operate, we will begin setting up at 7:00 AM. Please bring your rig and note that long runs of coax will be required. If you plan to operate, please contact us in advance. We look forward to seeing you there. The show with exhibits focuses on broadcast, media and entertainment. Free exhibit hall tickets are available until January 31, 2026 using the code E16 at the link below. Las Vegas Convention Center 8:30 am: Hidden Transmitter Hunt – This month's Hidden Transmitter Hunt will be located at the Wetlands Park starting at 9:00 AM. There will be coffee, water, and donuts available beginning at 8:30 AM. So arrive at about 8:30 to enjoy the donuts with your fellow hams. Hope you can join in on the fun. All you need to participate is a VHF HT. The hunt is easy, it’s just a walk in the park. We are looking to find out who can find the transmitter first.
