RoundTable is an open discussion on amateur radio topics selected by members and friends of the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club. This is a chance for us to catch up with the activities of our fellow members, hear from guests and tackle a topic.

Hidden Transmitter Hunt Hidden Transmitter Hunt

June 26, 2026The transmitter hunt will be on the Friday before the ARRL Field Day at our Field Day location, corner of Lee Canyon Rd and Champion Rd. The start time has not been determined.
Hope you can join in on the fun. All you need to participate is a VHF HT. The hunt is easy, it’s just a walk in the park. We are looking to find out who can find the transmitter first.

June 27, 2026 – June 28, 2026We are planning to participate in the annual ARRL 2026 Field Day on corner of Champion Road and Lee Canyon Rd in the Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest again this year.
We will be arriving a few days before the official field day starts to reserve our favorite location on Champion Road and to have a Hidden Transmitter Hunt on Friday June 26.
Watch for details as we approach the weekend of June 27-28.
